Schubert Estate originally began in the early 1900s when a Schubert family settled on Roennfeldt Road, Barossa valley. In 1991 Steve sectioned off six acres and planted three acres each of shiraz and semillon vines and, in 1996, planted the Goose Yard Block and then prepared two acres of the land that surrounded the Goose-Yard for shiraz.
Schubert Estate is listed in the James Halliday 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 Australian Wine Companion books. Accolades are:
